Six Functions. One AQUARIUS M25 HYDRATION SYSTEM.

The M25 brings six distinct water-treatment and conditioning functions together in one compact kitchen system. Five replaceable cartridges perform the filtration and mineral-conditioning stages, followed by the permanent stainless-steel Quantum Vortex stage.

1. Advanced Purification

A multi-stage filtration process progressively treats the incoming tap water, finishing with 0.01 micron ultrafiltration. The system is designed to reduce sediment, chlorine, fluoride, selected heavy metals, microplastics and other selected contaminants while operating without a reverse-osmosis reject-water stream.

2. Naturally Alkaline

After purification, specialised mineral media conditions the water and contributes alkaline minerals. Unlike an electrically powered water ioniser, the M25 does not require electrolysis plates or electricity to create its alkaline-water characteristics.

3. Naturally Ionised

The mineral-conditioning stage is designed to create naturally ionised water characteristics through contact with its mineral media rather than electrical electrolysis. The resulting characteristics can vary according to the incoming water chemistry and condition of the cartridge.

4. Natural Molecular Hydrogen

The M25 mineral stage is designed to generate molecular hydrogen (H₂) in the drinking water without an electrically powered hydrogen generator. Hydrogen concentration can vary with source-water chemistry, flow rate, cartridge age and the time between dispensing and drinking.

5. Rare Earth Energising

Rare-earth and specialised mineral media form part of the M25's proprietary water-conditioning stage. Aquarius Water describes this function as Rare Earth Energising, distinguishing it from the system's physical filtration, alkalising and hydrogen-generating functions.

6. Quantum Vortex Structuring

The final stage is the permanent stainless-steel Quantum Vortex unit. Water is directed through this stage in a controlled vortex flow pattern after passing through Filters A–E. The vortex unit is non-electric and does not require annual replacement.

The M25 Difference

Purification + Alkalinity + Ionisation + Molecular Hydrogen + Rare Earth Energising + Quantum Vortex Structuring.

Instead of using electricity, an RO storage tank or a reject-water line, the AQUARIUS M25 HYDRATION SYSTEM combines filtration, mineral media and a physical vortex stage in one compact system for the kitchen.

No electricity. No waste-water stream. Five replaceable filters. One permanent stainless-steel vortex stage.

What the Filtration Stages Are Designed to Reduce

The AQUARIUS M25 HYDRATION SYSTEM combines several different filtration technologies rather than relying on one cartridge to perform every task. The following describes the intended role of each filtration stage without implying that every contaminant is removed completely under all water conditions.

  • Sediment & suspended particles: dirt, rust, sand, silt, corrosion particles, cloudiness and other suspended material are targeted by the pre-filtration and ultrafiltration stages.
  • Chlorine, taste & odour: carbon-based filtration is designed to reduce chlorine and compounds that contribute to unpleasant taste and odour.
  • Fluoride: Filter B incorporates specialised fluoride-reduction media. Actual reduction depends on incoming fluoride concentration, water chemistry, flow and cartridge condition.
  • Selected heavy metals: the filtration media are designed to reduce selected heavy-metal contaminants including lead, mercury, arsenic, chromium and cadmium. Performance varies by contaminant and operating conditions.
  • Fine suspended material & microplastics: the 0.01 micron ultrafiltration stage provides a physical barrier for suspended particles larger than the membrane's nominal filtration scale.
  • Selected organic contaminants: carbon filtration can reduce selected VOCs and other organic compounds according to the characteristics and capacity of the media.

Important: a nominal filtration rating does not by itself establish a specific percentage reduction for every contaminant. Dissolved substances behave differently from suspended particles, and actual performance depends on source-water conditions and filter life.

0.01 Micron Ultrafiltration — What It Means

Filter D uses ultrafiltration with a nominal filtration accuracy of 0.01 micron. This is a physical membrane-filtration stage designed primarily to retain very fine suspended material. It is not reverse osmosis and therefore should not be described as removing every dissolved mineral or dissolved chemical from the water.

Because microbiological safety is a separate issue from nominal membrane size, the M25 should not be relied upon as the sole treatment for water known or suspected to be microbiologically unsafe. Where source-water safety is uncertain, appropriate testing and validated disinfection should be used.

Five Replaceable Filters + One Permanent Vortex Stage

  • Filter A: pre-filtration for dirt, silt, rust, sand, sediment and suspended particles.
  • Filter B: specialised carbon and fluoride-reduction media.
  • Filter C: carbon/heavy-metal filtration for chlorine, taste, odour and selected heavy metals.
  • Filter D: 0.01 micron ultrafiltration membrane for fine suspended particulate reduction.
  • Filter E: mineral-conditioning stage for alkaline, ionised and hydrogen-rich water characteristics.
  • Filter F – Quantum Vortex: permanent stainless-steel vortex stage; no annual replacement required.

Simple Annual Maintenance

Filters A–E: replace every 12 months or approximately 8,000 litres, whichever occurs first. Earlier replacement may be required if flow reduces noticeably, taste changes or source-water conditions are unusually challenging.

Filter F – Quantum Vortex: permanent and does not require routine replacement.

Bench Top or Under Sink

Bench Top: designed to connect at the kitchen tap using the appropriate diverter arrangement. Ideal where a simple installation and visible countertop system are preferred.

Under Sink: installs discreetly below the kitchen bench and supplies filtered water through a dedicated faucet or compatible 3-way mixer tap. Installation requirements depend on the existing plumbing and chosen tap configuration.

Performance & Product Transparency

The M25 combines multiple filtration and water-conditioning technologies. Performance can vary according to incoming water chemistry, contaminant concentration, pressure, flow rate, usage and cartridge condition.

0.01 micron clarification: the 0.01 micron specification relates to the ultrafiltration stage. Ultrafiltration is a physical membrane process and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every dissolved contaminant is removed at the same rate.

Microbiological clarification: filtration performance should not be used as a substitute for validated disinfection where source water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.

Alkaline, ionised and hydrogen clarification: these characteristics are produced through the M25 mineral-conditioning media rather than electrical electrolysis. Results vary with source water and operating conditions.

Vortex clarification: the Quantum Vortex stage creates a physical vortex flow pattern. Broader wellness or energetic descriptions should not be interpreted as established medical treatment claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the AQUARIUS M25 HYDRATION SYSTEM use electricity?

No. The M25 operates without electricity.

Does it waste water like a reverse-osmosis system?

No. The M25 does not use an RO reject-water stream.

Is it a whole-house system?

No. The AQUARIUS M25 HYDRATION SYSTEM is a kitchen drinking-water system, available in Bench Top and Under Sink configurations.

How often are the filters replaced?

Replace Filters A–E every 12 months or approximately 8,000 litres, whichever occurs first. Filter F, the stainless-steel Quantum Vortex stage, does not require annual replacement.

Does it remove all minerals?

No. The M25 uses ultrafiltration rather than reverse osmosis. The membrane targets fine suspended material while dissolved minerals may pass through, after which the mineral-conditioning stage further conditions the water.

Which option should I choose?

Choose Bench Top if you prefer a straightforward countertop installation. Choose Under Sink if you want the unit concealed below the bench with a dedicated filtered-water outlet or compatible 3-way mixer tap.

Which M25 Configuration Is Right for You?

Bench Top – $1,199 Best for customers wanting a straightforward countertop installation without placing the M25 inside the kitchen cabinet.
Under Sink – $1,299 Best for customers wanting the M25 concealed below the bench and connected to a dedicated filtered-water faucet or compatible 3-way mixer tap.

Both configurations use the same core M25 filtration and water-conditioning technology. The main difference is how the system is installed and how the drinking water is dispensed.

Plan for Filter Replacement

The M25 is designed for straightforward ongoing servicing. Filters A–E are replaced every 12 months or approximately 8,000 litres, whichever occurs first. The stainless-steel Quantum Vortex stage is permanent and does not require annual replacement.

Replacement timing can be earlier where incoming water contains unusually high sediment levels, household usage is high, flow decreases noticeably or the taste of the water changes.
