Mineral media
The existing AWL-908 product specification describes a blend of multiple mineral media, including tourmaline, zeolite and Maifanshi stone. The media is designed to condition the source water and can influence characteristics such as pH and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP).
Water characteristics
Existing product information references water pH potentially increasing from the source-water level toward approximately pH 7–9.5. The actual result varies substantially with starting water chemistry, temperature, contact time and cartridge condition.
Replacement guidance
Previous product guidance references approximately 12 months of use based on around 2–3 litres per day. Actual service life depends on usage and source-water quality.
