Activated carbon replacement cartridge with scale-control treatment for compatible Aquarius 20" x 4.5" whole-house systems.
What it does
The activated carbon component is designed to reduce chlorine-related taste and odour and adsorb selected organic compounds. The scale-control component is intended to help manage mineral scale formation under suitable water conditions.
Important distinction
This cartridge is not an ion-exchange water softener. It should not be described as removing hardness minerals from the water. Scale-control performance depends on source-water chemistry, temperature, flow and operating conditions.
