Pleated sediment replacement cartridge for compatible Aquarius whole-house filter housings.
Filtration role
The pleated media provides a large filtration surface area for capturing suspended sediment including sand, dirt, silt and rust before downstream treatment stages.

Maintenance
Cartridge life depends on water quality and sediment loading. Pleated cartridges may be rinsed where appropriate, but cleaning does not restore an exhausted or damaged filter indefinitely.
Flush the new cartridge for approximately 5 minutes before normal use and check the housing for leaks.
This cartridge is for particulate filtration and is not a chemical or microbiological treatment stage by itself.
