Description
Aquarius Carbon Block Filter – 10" x 4.5"
Activated carbon block replacement cartridge for compatible Aquarius 10" x 4.5" whole-house systems.
Filtration role
Designed primarily to reduce chlorine-related taste and odour while providing additional particulate filtration. Activated carbon can also adsorb selected volatile and organic compounds, with performance depending on the compound, source-water chemistry, flow and contact time.
Compatibility
- Size: 10" x 4.5"
- For compatible whole-house housings using a carbon-block treatment stage.
- Does not replace a dedicated fluoride, Aragon, Disruptor or sediment cartridge.
What this cartridge is not
This carbon cartridge should not be represented as a validated treatment for bacteria, viruses, parasites, fluoride or water hardness unless supported by specific testing for the exact cartridge and operating conditions.
Replacement guidance
Replace according to the system service schedule and earlier where chlorine breakthrough, taste/odour changes or reduced flow indicate the cartridge is exhausted. Actual service life depends on water quality and usage.
