Fluoride reduction
The treatment media is designed to reduce fluoride. Actual reduction and cartridge capacity depend on influent fluoride concentration, pH, competing ions, flow and total water usage. Do not interpret a laboratory percentage as a guaranteed result for every household installation.
Compatibility
Suitable for compatible standard-size Aquarius bench-top and under-sink systems configured with a fluoride-reduction stage. Confirm the cartridge configuration before ordering.
Important flushing procedure
- Remove downstream cartridges before flushing the new fluoride cartridge.
- Install the fluoride cartridge by itself and check for leaks.
- Flush for approximately 20 minutes.
- Turn off the water, release pressure and reinstall the downstream cartridges.
- Flush the complete system for approximately 10 minutes.
- After approximately 12 hours, flush again for around 3 minutes.
Replacement guidance
Existing product information references up to 1,800 L or around 12 months. Replace earlier if the rated volume is reached or source-water conditions require it.
