Description
Aquarius Polyspun Sediment Filter – 10" x 4.5"
Triple-gradient polypropylene sediment replacement cartridge for compatible Aquarius 10" x 4.5" whole-house filter housings.
Filtration role
Graded-density polypropylene media uses more open outer layers and finer inner layers to capture suspended particulate matter throughout the depth of the cartridge, including dirt, sand, rust, silt and clay.
Compatibility
- Size: 10" x 4.5"
- Commonly used as a sediment prefilter in compatible whole-house systems.
- Confirm housing dimensions before ordering; 10" x 4.5" is different from standard 10" x 2.5" kitchen cartridges.
Replacement guidance
Typically replace approximately every 6–12 months, or earlier where sediment loading causes reduced flow. Actual life depends on incoming water quality and household usage.
This cartridge provides particulate filtration only and is not a chemical or microbiological treatment stage by itself.
